Product Description

The ClarkDietrich Pony Wall support system is designed to resist out-of-plane loading of cantilevered partial walls (pony walls or knee walls) that lack upper support. These short walls, typically around 3 feet in height, require strong anchoring to remain upright due to their unsupported tops. This ClarkDietrich product and others from the same family of anchoring solutions ensure your pony wall or kneewall is securely fixed to the floor. Ideal for out-of-plane load support, the system securely anchors pony walls to the floor and is suitable for both residential and commercial applications. Installation: 1- Install the Pony Wall Support inside the track or attach directly to the floor structure. 2- Anchor to the floor as specified by the Engineer of Record (EOR). 3- Attach studs to both flanges of the Pony Wall Support. 4- Use a minimum 2-1/2" stud member with Pony Wall Lite anchors and a minimum 3-1/2" stud member with Pony Wall Heavy anchors.
