Hanger

Hangers typically wrap around three sides of a wooden beam or joist and create a secure connection. They are commonly used for floors, decks, ceilings, and roofs. Hangers are used in both wood and cold formed steel (CFS) framing. Hangers such as the ClarkDietrich Universal Joist Hanger (UJH) feature a flange designed to be custom bent to connect joists to CFS headers and steel I-beams.
