Product Description

The ClarkDietrich Uni-Clip™ framing clip is a versatile 14 gauge rigid connection framing clip designed to attach and support various rigid framing conditions. Featuring stiffened corners for superior design values, the Uni-Clip™ framing clip offers easy installation using screws or powder-actuated fasteners (PAF). This clip is ideal for a wide range of rigid connections, including shear, tension, and two-axis loading applications. Installation: 1- Secure the clips to cold-formed steel framing members using #10 self-drilling screws at minimum, inserting them through the clip holes and driving into the steel framing. Adhere to the specified fastener placement patterns to meet the allowable load requirements from manufacturer's published table. 2- For connections to the primary building frame, use powder-actuated fasteners, screws, or welds as per design specifications. Follow the required anchor placement pattern to achieve the allowable load.
