Product Description

The Field Skewable TradeReady® Rim Track Splice Plate offers a simple and effective method for splicing TradeReady® Rim. It is also perfect for connecting and reinforcing rims at bay or bow window details. The center of the plate allows for easy one-time field bending from 0° to 135°. Please note: the plate can only be bent once. Installation: For Splicing Connections- Align the center slots of the splice plate over the joint between the rim joists. Secure the splice plate by filling all pre-punched screw holes with #10 screws. For Off-Angle Connections- Field bend the plate (ONE TIME ONLY) to the required angle, ensuring it fits securely over the two adjoining members. Attach the field skewable plate by filling all pre-punched screw holes with #10 screws.
