Product Description
The Titen HD screw anchor series is designed for use in both cracked and uncracked concrete, as well as uncracked masonry. This series of anchor provides outstanding performance with low installation torque. This anchor series is intended for a wide variety of applications like seating, post bases, ledgers, sill plates, and other holdown applications. This anchor type is easy to remove when used in temporary applications such as bracing and formwork, or to allow for the relocation of a fixture. Countersunk head style for flush-mount applications. Note: Titen HD screw anchor series is made of zinc plated carbon steel for corrosion resistance, but is not recommended for permanent exposure to the elements or highly corrosive environments. See the Stainless-Steel Titan HD series for a preferred choice where corrosive or extreme environments are unavoidable, or when chemical or corrosive solution exposure is possible. Installation: Drill a hole in the base material concrete or masonry using a carbide drill bit that is the same diameter as the nominal diameter of the anchor to be installed. Drill the hole deep enough past embedment depth to allow thread tapping dust to settle inside hole. See manufacturer published overdrill depth table if needed. Blow dust clean. Insert anchor through fixture and into hole. Tighten anchor until the hex-washer head makes contact with the fixture.
