Ideal for high-wind zones, this single-sided tie helps eliminate the need for separate top-plate-to-stud connections by connecting trusses, top plates, and wall studs with a single tie. Made from durable 18-gauge ZMAX caoted galvanized steel, it ensures long-lasting performance in both wood and cold-formed steel construction. The H2AZ tie's efficient design streamlines installation while offering robust protection against uplift and lateral loads. Installation: Use all specified fasteners to ensure full load capacity and optimal performance. Note hurricane ties do not replace solid blocking. Avoid fastening through truss plates from behind to maintain truss performance.
