The Simpson Strong-Tie H2.5T Hurricane Tie provides lateral and uplift resistance for securing rafter or truss connections to top plates. Designed for moderate loads at the rafter/truss to top plate connection, this single-sided tie is available in both left- and right-hand models, allowing versatile installation in pairs. The top flange features an arrow line for correct placement. Made from 18-gauge G90 galvanized steel, the H2.5T provides durable, corrosion-resistant performance. Installation: Install with specified fasteners, using both right and left versions if applicable. Avoid fastening through truss plates from behind to maintain truss performance.
