Product Description
The Simpson Strong-Tie RCA2211/68-R40 rigid connector angle is designed as a general purpose clip for cold-formed steel construction, providing all purpose reinforcement for header/sill connections to jamb studs, jamb stud reinforcement at track, u-channel bridging, stud blocking, by-pass curtain-wall framing, joist connections, and other applications. With prepunched holes, it ensures fast and accurate attachment, saving time on the job site. Constructed from G90 galvanized steel, it’s engineered to support various load requirements while ensuring long-lasting durability. 16ga, 14ga, and 12ga versions are available in various lengths. RCA2211/68-R40 features 2" x 2" legs at an 11" length in 14 gauge material. Installation note: Use all specified fasteners to achieve manufacturer published load ratings. Install with #10 screws.
