Product Description

ClarkDietrich Skewable Angles provide versatile and sturdy connections for various framing applications, including joist-to-joist, joist-to-hip beam, or joist-to-other miscellaneous framing. These angles are specially designed for making off-angle connections, offering flexibility in construction projects. With the ability to be field bent from 0° to 135°, they are highly useful in truss fabrication, especially for hip truss roof configurations featuring 45 and 135-degree angles. Please note that these angles can only be bent once Installation: 1- Make sure to use designated fasteners for optimal performance. 2- When dealing with off-angle connections, make sure to field bend the Skewable Angle (ONE TIME ONLY) to the necessary angle such that it fits securely over the two adjoining framing members. 3- Once appropriately bent, firmly secure the Skewable Angle in place by utilizing #10 screws or as specified in the design requirements. The joist must be constrained against rotation when using a single Skewable Angle per connection.
