Product Description

The ClarkDietrich Header Cripple Stud Clip is designed for compatibility with the RedHeader Pro or HDS Framing System. Using this clip eliminates the need for header track material and is a more economical alternative. Installation: 1- Secure the Header Cripple Stud Clips to the cold-formed steel (CFS) framing members using #10 (minimum) self-drilling screws driven through the clip holes into the steel framing. 2- The design engineer should outline the attachment of clips and verify their capacity aligns with the application. 3- First fasten two screws in outermost screw holes of each leg. Proceed with placing additional screws (if required) symmetrically from the outermost holes towards the center.
