Product Description

Strait-Flex Medium is a top-quality drywall corner bead designed for finishing inside 90° and off-angle corners. Its slotted edge design ensures a strong bond to the drywall substrate, delivering smooth and clean corners. The material used to manufacture Strait-Flex Medium does not fuzz-up during finishing and sanding. Ideal for bay windows, coffered ceilings, or any inside corner with gaps, Strait-Flex Medium is your go-to solution. Apply with all-purpose joint compound for best results. Installation: 1- Cut the Strait-Flex Medium to the required length and trim the ends at 45-degree angles. Fold it in half along the center crease, with the printed sides facing each other. For inside corners, fold less than the desired angle with the printed side facing out. 2- Spread all-purpose joint compound along the corner. Press Strait-Flex Medium into the wet compound, align to form a straight line, and smooth with a taping knife. 3- Immediately apply a second coat of compound. Allow it to dry completely, either for several hours or overnight. 4- Using a 6” or 8” taping knife, apply the final coat of compound, feathering it beyond the previous layer. For inside corners, a very light coat is sufficient. Let it dry completely, for several hours or overnight. 5- Lightly sand with 120-grit sandpaper. Strait-Flex Medium will not fuzz up like paper or mesh tapes.
