Product Description

The ClarkDietrich H-Series™ Universal Header Hanger is used for connecting box headers to jambs or beams to columns, enabling the transfer of significant vertical loads. This universal hanger is designed to be reversible, eliminating the need for left/right hand versions. Featuring a support tab for alignment and easy installation, the H-Series™ hanger comes pre-punched with round, square, and triangle holes to ensure precise fastener placement for specified loads. Installation: 1- Mount the H-Series™ Universal Header Hanger onto the jamb studs using the necessary number of screws to meet the required loading specifications. See manufacturer website for official published load tables. 2- Typically, two connectors are needed, one on each side of the header. Position the header on the support tabs and securely attach it to the header hanger using the appropriate number of fasteners as per the design requirements.
