Product Description

ClarkDietrich Foundation Clips provide a sturdy and adjustable rigid attachment solution for TRADEREADY® rim joists or conventional structural tracks to building foundations. These clips ensure a rigid, secure connection by utilizing elongated slots and anchor bolts for secure fastening to the foundation. The elongated slots offer flexibility in positioning, allowing the clip to snugly fit against the rim even if anchor bolts are not perfectly aligned. The prepunched leg facilitates easy screw attachment to the face or web of the joist, ensuring a hassle-free installation process. Clip spacing is based on loading requirements for optimal structural support. Installation: 1- For optimal performance, attach foundation clips adjacent to perpendicular joist members and space them according to code requirements or the engineer of record's specifications. Secure the clips to the building foundation using anchors calculated to withstand specific load requirements. 2- Use steel nylon locking nuts and thread adhesive to prevent nut spin and ensure a secure attachment. 3- Secure the foundation clip to the rim track using a minimum of #10 self-drilling screws for a reliable connection.
