Product Description

The FastBack backing system boasts a versatile universal design, compatible with studs in either direction, effectively hiding fasteners on the product's face. This innovative system minimizes screw pops and reduces touch-up work by eliminating exposed fasteners on the product face. It is particularly effective for applications like handrails, baseboards, doorjambs, trim, and cabinets or vanities. This system forms an interlocked arrangement between the stud and track for baseboard backing installations. Additionally, the cutaway design allows for complete installation of backing and bracing all the way down to the floor. The FastBack system excels in applications such as handrails, baseboards, doorjambs, trim, cabinets, and vanities. The 200-FBBC5-2X is specifically designed to support traditional 2X lumber and is designed for 2" stud flange widths. Installation: 1- Rotate the FastBack® clip over the stud flange until it sits flush. 2- Secure the clip using drywall screws in the pre-punched holes. 3- Place the wood onto the tabs and fasten it in place with standard drywall screws.
