Product Description

The DHR97 Drift Headed Rail is a C-Shaped Drift Rail with nelson studs welded at 8" o.c. for a cast-in-place applications. For mechanically fastened applications refer to the DR97 Drift Rail. ClarkDietrich Drift Rail 97mil (12ga) and Clip 97 mil or 68mil (12ga or 14ga) is a uniquely designed universal two-piece system that is used to attach curtain-wall studs to the building structure and allows for vertical and lateral movement (drift and deflection) or to be rigidly attached. The system utilizes a C-Shaped Drift Headed Rail and unique Drift Rail Clips that rotate into position for easy installation. The Drift Rail Clips use FastClip Deflection Screws for attachment to the wall studs and allows for 3" vertical deflection (1-1/2" up and down) and is also designed with 1/8" holes to rigidly attach wall studs.
