Product Description

ClarkDietrich rolled strapping is fabricated to withstand tension loads when fastened to solid sawn or structural composite lumber, including metal plate-connected trusses, framing members, and wall components. With a width of 1-1/4", ClarkDietrich Rolled Strapping (CDRS) has holes punched at 1-1/4" on center in a staggered pattern. This strapping is manufactured in continuous rolls of 250 feet for 20 gauge, 200 feet for 18 gauge and 150 feet for 16 gauge. Common applications include floor-to-floor or floor-to-roof connections, helping to establish a continuous load path from the roof to the foundation. CDRS200 is 18 gauge (43 mil) strapping in a 200 foot roll.
