All hangers provide multiple installation methods, giving users maximum flexibility. Both double-shear and straight nailing options are available, and these hangers come equipped with placement tooth or placement nail options for simplified installation. Installation Guidelines: 1- Utilize all specified fasteners as indicated in the manufacturer's published table. 2- Drive 3" nails at a 45-degree angle through the purlin into the header, and combine with top and face nails to achieve the specified loads. 3- Drive 1-1/2" nails into the purlin at a 90-degree angle, and combine with top and face nails to meet the specified load requirements.
