Product Description

ClarkDietrich Medium Strap metal connectors are fabricated to withstand tension loads when fastened to solid sawn or structural composite lumber, including metal plate-connected trusses, framing members, and wall components. With a width of 1-1/4", CDMS Medium Straps are available in lengths ranging from 21-5/8" to 39-5/8". Each strap features three holes positioned at 3/4" on center in a diagonal pattern at both ends, with additional holes along the length of the strap punched at 1-1/2" on center also in a diagonal arrangement. Please note there is a 3" section in the middle of each strap without any holes. These 16-gauge straps find common applications in butt joints between framing members and for floor-to-floor or floor-to-roof connections, helping to establish a continuous load path from the roof to the foundation.
