Product Description

These light twist strap metal connectors are manufactured to resist tension load when attached to solid sawn or structural composite lumber metal plate connected trusses, framing members and wall members. CDLST Light Twist Straps are 1-1/4" wide. Straps are available in lengths from 9-5/8" to 24-5/8". Three holes are located at 3/4" on center, in a diagonal pattern, at each end of the strap. Remaining holes are punched at 1-1/2" on center, in a diagonal pattern. There is a 3" long section with no holes in the middle of each strap. There is also a 90 degree bend extending across the width of the strap for 4-5/8" in the middle of each strap. Common use cases include floor-to-floor or floor-to-roof connections as hurricane ties for establishing a continuous load path from roof to foundation. These are 20 gauge straps.
