Double shear nailing effectively distributes loads at two points along the joist nails, reducing hardware usage and improving installation times. To achieve the published loads, it's essential to use the specified quantity of joist nails and drive them at an angle into the joist or truss. Please note that these hangers are not intended for welded applications.
