Product Description

These convenient drywall patches are pre-cut with a 6-1/4" hole to fit standard residential ceiling lights and can light receptacles. Simple, straightforward installation using your preferred drywall compound. The material used to manufacture this patch will not fuzz when sanded. This patch is recommended for both new construction and lighting re-location. Installation: 1- First lightly sand area to be repaired. 2- Next apply drywall compound 1/8”-1/4” thick directly on the back of the patch. 3- Place the patch over the center of repair and wipe down flat to wall using joint knife. 4- Immediately skim-coat the patch and allow it to dry. 5- After drying, apply a second coat, let dry again, and sand. Note: compound that remains on backside of Can-Patch makes patch very rigid in the damaged area.
