Strait-Flex Butt-Tape provides superior strength and speed. This tape two times stronger than paper or mesh tape and installation times are twice as fast as conventional tapes. You do not need to apply compound over the laminated area of the tape. The only compound required is a skim coat on the edges. Reduced compound also means quicker drying times and less sanding. Whether you are a seasoned pro or beginner, you can produce the flattest butt-joints possible. It is possible to create butt-joints with this tape that are practically invisible to the naked eye.
