Product Description

BlazeFrame Tape is a self-adhering itumescent (swells with heat) tape that can be adhered to metal profiles to provide an air and smoke seal. At the time of installation this tape has a 2mm thickness, but after exposure to heat above 375 degrees Fahrenheit the intumescent material can expand up to 35 times its original size. This adaptive response to a fire event provides protection against the transmission of heat and flames.
