Product Description

BlazeFrame Tape is a self-adhering itumescent (swells with heat) tape that can be installed directly onto metal profiles to provide an air and smoke seal. When first installed this tape is only 2mm thick, but after exposure to heat above 375 degrees Fahrenheit the intumescent material can expand up to 35 times its original size. This adaptive response to a fire provides protection against the transmission of heat, flames, and smoke.
