Product Description

The AKN-100-0100HA Steel Framing Pins are engineered for high-performance fastening of sheathing, siding, and drywall materials to cold-formed steel framing from 12 gauge (97 mil) to 22 gauge (27 mil). Designed for use with the ROCKFAST® Model 620 tool, these .100" diameter pins feature a 0.248" head for reliable pull-over resistance when fastening plywood, OSB, interior drywall, or fiber cement siding.

Each pin is manufactured with a knurled shank for improved grip in steel substrates and a durable Aericote® 1000 coating, providing up to 10 times the corrosion resistance of electroplated zinc. The plastic sheet collation ensures clean separation on drive, leaving a flush finish ideal for face-nailing finished materials like HardiePanel®.

Installation: Load sheet-collated pins into the ROCKFAST Model 620 tool, adjust the depth as needed, and fire sequentially for accurate and consistent placement. Refer to ICC ESR-1844 and IAPMO ER-335 for approved structural applications.
