Product Description

ClarkDietrich’s BlazeFrame Shield is designed to be used in combination with approved fireblocking materials outlined in section 718 of the IBC. Installing this fire shield is quick and efficient- simply twist into stud flanges and screw directly into stud webs. The single piece factory formed assembly allows for painless installation without any cutting, notching or attaching clips. The BlazeFrame Shield is available in three widths (3-5/8", 4", or 6") for both 16" and 24" stud spacing. This fire shield is pre-notched for use on structural studs with a 1-5/8" flange.
