The Drift Slide Angle Strut is designed to connect exterior cold-formed steel curtain wall studs to a structural steel frame, accommodating large stand-off conditions while bypassing the primary structure. It allows for up to 2 inches of vertical deflection (1 inch up and down) and 2 inches of lateral drift (1 inch left and right). Featuring TSN’s patented Step Bushing Technology, this strut ensures a friction-free, anti-seizure connection between the clip, stud web surface, and track. Compliant with ICC-ES standards and constructed from certified 50ksi, 97mil, G90 cold-formed steel, it offers a strong, efficient alternative to traditional assemblies and heavy deep-leg tracks.
